Profile and account

Settings live under your profile avatar at the bottom of the sidebar, at My profile.

Tabs

Tab	What it holds
Account	Name, email, phone, password
Preferences	Students' topic and exam preferences
Teacher profile	Teachers' public profile details
Saved items	Saved question papers

Which tabs you see depends on your role.

Edit your name, email and phone on the Account tab and save. Required fields are validated before saving.

Your username identifies you across the platform and appears in your public profile URL.

Change your password on the Account tab. If you have forgotten it, sign out and use Forgot password instead — see Signing in.

Accounts created with Google have no password until you set one.

Account deletion is at /only_cool/delete-account.

Deletion is irreversible. Your results, saved papers and — for teachers — your institute content go with it. Export anything you want to keep first.

Teachers should hand over or close their institutes before deleting, since institute content does not transfer automatically.
