Taking an exam

There are two ways into an exam: one your teacher scheduled, or one you generate for yourself from a topic.

Exams your teacher scheduled​

Write exams lists what is available to you now. Select one to begin.

Exams you generate yourself​

Explore topics lists the topics open to you. Pick one and KattralOne builds a practice exam from it. Nobody has to schedule anything, and you can do this as often as you like.

The instructions screen​

Every exam opens on an instructions screen first — duration, number of questions and how marks work. Read it, then select Start.

The timer begins when you start, not when you open the instructions. Read them without rushing.

While you are writing​

  • Answer questions and move between them freely.
  • The timer runs on the server. Closing the tab does not pause it.
  • When the timer runs out the exam ends and what you have answered is taken as your submission.

Stay on a stable connection. If the network drops mid-exam you may not be able to save answers, and the clock keeps running regardless. If it does drop, reconnect and continue rather than restarting.

Submitting and your result​

Submit when you are done, or let the timer finish. Your result appears immediately with your score.
