Welcome to KattralOne
KattralOne is an online exam platform. Students practise and write exams; teachers author questions, build question papers and schedule exams for their classrooms; institutes hold it all together.

How the platform fits together
There are three ideas worth understanding before anything else.
Roles. Every account is a student or a teacher. Your role decides which dashboard you land on after signing in and which menu items you see. A third role, superadmin, runs the platform itself and is not covered here.
Institutes. A teacher creates an institute, and inside it creates classrooms and invites students and co-teachers. Almost everything a teacher does — questions, papers, series, scheduled exams — belongs to one institute.
Exams. A teacher builds an exam pattern (how many questions, from which sections, for how many marks), fills it with questions to produce a question paper, then schedules that paper for a classroom. Students can also practise on their own, outside any classroom.
What you need
- A modern browser. KattralOne is tested on Chrome; other current browsers work.
- An email address, or a Google account.
- A stable connection while writing a timed exam.
This site is written in English. The Tamil translation is in progress — the language selector in the navbar shows English content until it lands.
